We are seeking a Direct Salesperson to join our sales team. We ask that you have a minimum of four years of direct sales experience and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. it is essential that you have the ability to learn new technology and easily convey our value proposition to small and medium sized business owners.

Candidates should have working knowledge and experience in data or voice systems as well as knowledge in network technologies such as switches, routers, LANs and WANs. Ideal candidates will possess proven experience in both data and voice technologies. Prior telecom industry experience is essential. Previous experience in technical sales of PBX and VoIP solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Call into 20-30 accounts daily
• Close two or more opportunities each week
• Maintain expertise on PBXtra’s hardware and software options as well as other services Converge has to offer
• Be proficient managing the sales pipeline in our CRM application
• Stay abreast of the IP PBX competitive landscape

Candidates must have well-developed verbal and written communications skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proven ability to work remotely out of your own home office. Successful candidates will possess high energy, self-motivation, and require little guidance. Understanding and maintaining current knowledge on the company’s products, services, features, benefits and applications is imperative.

Compensation includes a base salary, high incentive/commission component (total comp at 100% of plan is in the $75K-$85K range) plus a laptop, cell phone and a car allowance.  We offer a comprehensive benefits program including medical and dental insurance, paid holidays, vacation time, and sick pay.

Telephone Technician

Searching for a Samsung Business Telephone System technician certified on the DCS product line. Will need knowledge of the DCS Compact, DCS 100, DCS 500, DCS, and 7400 product line. An understanding of PRI/ T-1 interface and cutover requirements is critical. Excellent Customer relations and professional appearance is a must.

LAN/ WAN, Linux, Asterisk and VoIP experience needed (Charlotte Metro Area)
Needed: Experienced in development and analysis of LAN/ WAN environments, Firewall, and Linux experience. Implementation of Asterisk VoIP PBX on existing networks. Assist in design of new networks which will support VoIP. We are seeking a Sales Engineer to act as a technical resource for our sales team. With some of the smartest people in the telephony business working for us, this is a great opportunity to jump onboard and work with people who are passionate about what they do.

As a Sales Engineer you’ll report to the Director of Sales and work with a team of technical sales people selling Asterisk- IP-based PBX system. You will be taking high-level technical questions about QoS, TCP/IP, routing protocols, telephony circuits and interoperability and then gracefully and clearly answering them in a manner that non-technical people can use and understand. If you’ve been working as a Network Engineer and are looking for a new challenge, this is the perfect opportunity.

Typical Minimum Requirements:
• Solid understanding of PBX system features and implementation
• Solid understanding of Linux operating system
• Solid Understanding of TCP/IP networks and applications
• Familiar with SIP v.2 protocol
• Solid understanding of QoS protocols for LAN and WAN applications
• Must completely understand T1, MPLS, Frame Relay, PRI, POTS
• Must be a strong written and verbal communicator in English
• Must have a good personality on the phone
• Must work well in a team environment
